About IRIDAVO

Built on 48 millimetres

Why every IRIDAVO piece is sized on one module, and what that does for your desk.

Every IRIDAVO module laid out on a grid.

A desk is a plan

Most desk accessories are designed one at a time: a tray here, a stand there, each with its own size and colour. Put them together and the desk looks like a drawer that was tipped out.

IRIDAVO starts from the other end. We picked one unit, 48 mm, and sized everything on it. A tray is two modules by one; a pen cup is one by one; a monitor shelf is twelve by five. Pieces sit flush side by side, rows line up with the edge of the mat, and the desk reads as a single plan instead of a collection of objects.

Three materials

Anodised aluminium for anything that carries weight. Pressed wool felt for anything that touches your laptop, your desk or the things you put down. Solid oak for the pieces you handle most. Every piece comes in finishes that match the rest of the system.

Nothing to plug in

We make the things around your devices, not the devices themselves. No chargers, no lamps, no batteries: just stands, trays, mats, sleeves and cable organisers that hold what you already own.

Numbers you can check

Every listing gives the real dimensions, weight, load limit and what it fits. If a number is not on the page, ask us and we will measure it.

Principles

Three rules we design by.

  1. One module

Every piece is a multiple of 48 mm, minus a 2 mm gap. Nothing is sized by eye.

  2. Nothing to plug in

No chargers, lamps or cables of our own. Our pieces hold your devices; they do not power them.

  3. Numbers on the page

Dimensions, weights, loads and fits are written on every listing, so you can check before you buy.
